"The circumstances of their deaths, with the entire family and dog found together, were unusual, Griese acknowledged, but his office was confident in their findings. More than 30 local, state and federal agencies were involved in the investigation. The FBI is analysing a cellphone found with the family, which investigators hope will provide more information about what unfolded on the trail that day.
The deaths, Griese said, were weather-related and there are no other known hazards to the public on the trail"

In 2017 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from energy and industry reached record levels. Carbon dioxide, the major GHG, more than 15% of which remains in the atmosphere for 1000 years or more, is at its highest level since at least 850,000 years ago.
Climate change is projected to affect health through a myriad of different pathways. From the direct effect of heat and exposure to other extreme events, including floods and droughts, to effects on natural systems such as on vector-borne or water-borne diseases and undernutrition..."
